Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other paths she could take. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit before the band went on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. It was during this time that she came across Dave Stewart with whom she formed Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. It was released in 1992. The album was hugely successful both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in the month of November. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's most loved blues, jazz and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is consisting of four tracks improvised. The E.P. is an accompanying piece for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go... The album is the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and singer-songwriter. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They would go on, in the 1980s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career with her debut album Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the album from 1995 studio has covers of No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio and compilation albums.
